CondorGame Obtains RMB 70 Mln Funding

Beijng-based online game developer and operator CondorGame has confirmed receipt of a total of nearly RMB 70 mln in joint funding from Shanghai Hua Ling Investments, adding that the first installment of funds had already been received.

CondorGame currently employs nearly 100 staff. Founder Zheng Ke has said that the funding will be directed primarily toward bringing more talent and game teams into CondorGame, along with greater investment into research, strengthening operations, and expansion of sales promotions of MMORPG Du Gu Jiu Jian, developed in collaboration with Chinese online game developer and operator Kingsoft's (3888.HK) Beijing-based Shang Shui Xuan Studio. At the same time, funds will also be allotted toward further development and expansion of CondorGame's newer operations, including browser game and mobile entertainment products.
