SARFT: 594 Online Audiovisual Content Providers Approved

Zhang Haitao, deputy director of China's State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT), recently revealed that SARFT had approved 594 domestic online audiovisual programming content providers. Zhang added that construction of IPTV integrated broadcast and control platforms in China's 12 IPTV trial cities was essentially complete, and that the platforms had been linked to the central platform operated by CCTV's national online TV station CNTV.
