Shanda Games Wins RMB 3 Mln IPR Lawsuit

Chinese online game developer and operator Shanda Games (Nasdaq: GAME), a subsidiary of Shanda Interactive (Nasdaq: SNDA), has won a copyright and trademark infringement lawsuit against Guangzhou-based online game developer and operator Youming Network. Youming Network has issued an apology for its self-developed browser game Zhanjiang Chuanqi (Zhanjiang Fengyun), which was found to have infringed upon Shanda's trademarks and copyrights, as well as changed the name of the game, deleted the offending content, and paid RMB 3 mln in compensation.
