Rumor: SARFT Appoints New Director

Wang Haitian, a member of the technical committee of the China Association for Standardization, recently revealed on his microblog that Beijing's deputy mayor, Cai Fuchao, will replace Wang Taihua as head of China's State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT). An official announcement will reportedly be made today.
A source within SARFT confirmed a meeting was scheduled for today, but said that details on any appointments would not be revealed until after the meeting.
