Starcraft II Approved by China's Ministry of Culture

According to China's Ministry of Culture, Activision-Blizzard's real time strategy game Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty has passed the Ministry's content approval process.

According to the Ministry's online gaming content approval system, NetEase (Nasdaq: NTES) subsidiary Shanghai EaseNet Network Technology received approval on January 19, but an exact launch date as well as distribution details have yet to be announced by the company.

Inside sources have revealed that EaseNet is set to distribute Starcraft II and efforts are already underway for an official launch sometime in Q1 2011, but an exact date and distribution details have yet to be determined.
