China Lowers Import Tariffs on Tablets, 3C Goods

China's Ministry of Finance issued an announcement yesterday that it would decrease import tariffs for personal computers (including iPad tablets), camcorders, digital cameras, and other consumer electronics products from 20% to 10%. The General Administration of Customs of the People's Republic of China did not reveal what the new price after taxes would be for the iPad.
