SARFT Targets 80% FTTH Coverage by 2015

An industry source revealed today that China's State Administration of Radio, Film and Television (SARFT) recently said it plans for more than 80% of China's cities to implement FTTH by 2015, with 30 of China's largest cities to build next-generation broadcasting demonstration projects bringing 1 Gbps internet access for enterprise subscribers, and 100 mln newly added bi-directional DTV subscribers.
