China's 2010 Rural Appliance Sales Reach RMB 116 Bln

According to China's Ministry of Commerce, nearly 52.57 mln electrical and electronic appliances were sold nationwide through the "Appliances to the Countryside" subsidy program in the first three quarters of 2010, resulting in RMB 115.84 bln in sales, up 150% and 200% YoY respectively. Sales jumped 100% or more in 31 provinces nationwide.
