Industry Association Backs Huawei, ZTE in EU Investigation

Oriental Morning Post, 7/06/10

In response to the European Union's anti-dumping investigation on Chinese data cards, Chinese vendors Huawei and ZTE (0763.HK; 000063.SZ) stated at a meeting held yesterday by the China Chamber of Commerce for Import & Export of Machinery & Electronic Products (CCCME) that the two companies had already initiated legal procedures, and the CCCME will join the Chinese enterprises in legal defense against the EU's action. The Fair Trade Bureau of China's Ministry of Commerce and local commerce authorities sent representatives to attend the meeting.
