China Telecom Affirms Control over 3G Data Use

At a 2010 E-Surfing 3G internet phone trade fair held by China Telecom (NYSE: CHA; 0728.HK) in Dongguan, Guangdong Province on June 26-27, China Telecom public customer department general manager Zhang Xin confirmed that the company has asserted a degree of control over the growth of 3G data card users, unifying tariffs nationwide, in order to avoid overburdening the 3G network.
