Oak Pacific Launches Game-Oriented SNS in Japan

Joe Chen, chairman and CEO of Oak Pacific Interactive, the company behind popular Chinese social network site (SNS) Renren, has revealed that Oak Pacific has established an SNS in Japan called Gummy, that will follow a social game-based model. Gummy will cooperate with Japan's largest social networking site Mixi and other Japanese SNS, and introduce Renren's social and browser games to the Japanese market.
Chen added that 26% of Renren users visit via mobile phone.
