Tencent to Recruit 300 Staff for Tenpay

Chinese internet company Tencent (0700.HK) recently posted a total of 300 job listings for its third-party payment service Tenpay on the company's HR page (http://hr.tencent.com), covering mobile development, systems maintenance, business expansion, and user experience, among other positions.
Recruitment for Tenpay will take place in Beijing, Xi'an, Shenzhen, and Shanghai. The advertised positions fall into the categories of product, technology, and marketing, with product and technology positions accounting for the majority of jobs; the number of business expansion positions in the marketing category - about ten - also reflects a relatively large demand for employees in that area. Tenpay will also step up R&D in the area of mobile payment, with several dozen open positions for iPhone and Android software engineers, all marked as "urgently needed."
A spokesperson for Tenpay said that the new batch of jobs was Tenpay's largest recruitment since its founding.
