Qunar's Hotel Search Revenue Grows 10x

Zhuang Chenchao, president of Chinese travel services site Qunar.com, revealed recently that revenues contributed by Qunar's hotel search product have increased tenfold over the past twelve months, growing to account for more than 10% of Qunar's total revenues. Revenue from ticket searches has grown threefold over the past 12 months.
Qunar CEO Fritz Demopoulos said that the majority of Qunar's expenditures are for investment in product R&D. Approximately 1/3 of Qunar's R&D manpower is currently focused on developing vacation travel and social products.
Zhuang said that Qunar's wireless client is now available for a number of smartphone platforms, including Nokia, Android, and the iPhone. The company employs more than 200 people.
