Ex-Shanda Games CEO Names New Company

DoNews, 3/02/10

Li Yu, former CEO of Shanda Games (Nasdaq: GAME), said that a company name and a new project for her new company had been decided upon, with further details to be released as the company's products take form. The company will be named Shanghai Yurong Network Technologies. Products are still on the drawing board, and Li predicted an R&D period of up to six months.

An informed source said that Yurong plans to release products aimed at online interactive communities and casual gaming communities; casual gaming products will resemble those available on children's SNS 51mole.com. Li declined to offer any comment, though she stressed that the company's new projects do not involve the children's gaming market.
