Taiwan Delegation to Discuss Cross-Strait E-Reader Cooperation

According to Taiwan's Commercial Times, telecom and electronics companies from both sides of the Taiwan Strait are planning to meet for the first time to discuss a cooperative plan for e-reader products. A delegation from Taiwan will travel to Mainland China in early March to meet with telecom operators and major e-reader manufacturers to discuss cooperation in the e-reader business. Chunghwa Telecom and e-reader related firms have scheduled meetings with executives at China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK), Beijing-based PC and peripheral manufacturer Founder Group (600601.SH) and Chinese e-reader and handwriting input technology maker Hanvon (002362.SZ). Telecom operators, e-reader manufacturers and publishers from both sides of the Strait will draft an outline for cross-Strait collaboration.
