CGIA: 2009 Online Gaming Industry to Reach RMB 25 Bln

According to data from the China e-Game Industry Association (CGIA), China's gaming industry will reach a total value of RMB 71 bln in 2009. Online gaming output value accounted for 35.2%, generating RMB 25 mln. Gaming equipment (e.g game consoles, etc.) output value accounted for 60.5%, with 30% of the world's gaming equipment manufactured in China. Browser games, mobile games and personnel training accounted for 4.3% altogether.
