Net income attributable to shareholders in Q3 reached RMB 69.1 mln, down 33% YoY and down 28% QoQ. The drop in net income was partly due to increased R&D costs for new game development, and promotional costs for Kingsoft's self-developed pay-to-play 3D martial arts MMORPG, JX Online 3.
Revenue from entertainment software came to RMB 162.8 mln, up 9.3% YoY and up 2.9% QoQ.

The number of monthly average paying users increased 25% YoY and 17% QoQ to 1.54 mln. This quarter-over-quarter increase in daily average peak concurrent users and monthly paying users was due mainly to the commercial launch of JX Online 3 in China and the commercial launch of JX World in Vietnam.
Monthly ARPU for Kingsoft's MMORPGs fell 13% YoY and 10% QoQ to RMB 35. Daily average paying users of Kingsoft Internet Security online services came to 8.27 mln, down 4% YoY.
