CDC Software Q3 2009 Net Profit Up 48% YoY

CDC Software Corporation (Nasdaq: CDCS), a global provider of a broad suite of enterprise software applications to customers in select industries, today announced its financial results for the quarter ended September 30, 2009. In the third quarter of 2009, the company recorded total revenue of USD 48.6 mln, down 19.7% year-on-year. During the same period, license sales represented 16%, maintenance 52%, services 31% and hardware 1%, of total revenue.

Net income was USD 6.2 mln, up 47.6% compared to net income of USD 4.2 mln in the same quarter last year.

CDC Software revised its FY 2009 profit guidance to USD 17.2 mln and USD 19.3 mln, up from USD 15 mln to USD 18 mln.
