Rumor: The9 Testing SNS Product

According to an industry insider, Chinese online game developer and operator The9 (Nasdaq: NCTY) has been internally testing an SNS-like product in the past few days, but details were not available. The source said the project is considered important, as The9 has assigned an unnamed VP to oversee its development.
Before entering the gaming sector, The9 operated an SNS called Di Jiu Chengshi ("The Ninth City").
