Shanda Wins Unfair Competition Lawsuit

The Shanghai No.1 Intermediate People's Court has ruled that it cannot establish that Qidian - an online literature site run by Chinese online game developer and operator Shanda (Nasdaq: SNDA) - used its monopoly status to coerce writers. As such, the court has thrown out the unfair competition lawsuit brought against the company by Chinese e-book firm Sursen.
