China Mobile Launches App Store

China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) has officially launched its mobile app store, Mobile Market, at a ceremony in Beijing. The telecom operator's 10086 customer service center will handle all queries regarding the new service. As of the morning of August 17, the Mobile Market developer community reported 9,246 registered members, 2,104 of whom have submitted concept proposals and 6,481 of whom have submitted products.
