Madhouse PR, 8/12/09
Shanghai-based mobile advertising network Madhouse has announced the launch of a third-party mobile advertising tracking service, mWebTracker. The platform is certified, co-developed and operated by web monitoring firm iResearch, and will allow advertisers who serve ads on MadNetwork through MadServing to track ads in real time on the mobile Internet. MadHouse touts mWebTracker as the first third-party mobile ad tracking platform in China.
mWebTracker will monitor site traffic via tracking codes on mobile Internet sites and analyze the data on its proprietary platform, allowing advertisers to evaluate the effectiveness of the selected site and the overall campaign to reach targeted users in real-time. The service will also allow advertisers to analyze users by geography, handset brand and retail price segment. mWebTracker will also provide the number of clicks generated by selected advertising positions to enable agencies and advertisers to understand the effectiveness of different positions, evaluate ad serving on different mobile media and adjust strategies accordingly in order to increase ROI.
