China Mobile Active WAP Users Reach 110 Mln

At today's "2009 China Mobile Payment Industry Forum," senior project manager from the China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) Research Institute, Guo Manxue, said, "China Mobile currently has 480 mln active users, of whom 110 mln are active WAP users, 130 mln are active MMS users, and 440 mln are active peer-to-peer SMS users." According to China Mobile's most recently released operations statistics, it had a total of 493 mln users at the end of June.
