CDC Games Expects 50% Revenue Increase in Q2

CDC Games, online gaming company and subsidiary of CDC Corporation (Nasdaq: CHINA), has revealed it expects Q2 2009 revenues to increase 50% over Q1 earnings due to a comeback of its core 3D MMORPG, Yulgang.
CDC Games said it owes the expected gain to the March release of version 3.0 of the game, titled "Nan Lin Feng Yun," that included a new map system, 16 new monsters and a new battlefield. CDC Games earned USD 6.3 mln in Q1.
CDC Games plans to release the Chinese edition of The Lord of the Rings Online in the second half of the year, in addition to new versions of its current games, which it expects to help the company's performance. CDC Games has over 160 mln registered users.
