Shanda, Japanese Firm Announce Mobile Novel Copyright Exchange

Qi Xiaodan, president of Shanda Literature, recently said that the subsidiary of online game developer and operator Shanda (Nasdaq: SNDA) has reached a copyright exchange agreement with Fantasy Island, the company holding the rights to Japanese mobile phone novel Koizora. Shanda Literature will receive the rights to translate into Chinese and publish the novel on its website in exchange for the rights to translate the Chinese novel Gui Chui Deng into Japanese and publish to a mobile platform.
