Japan Tourism Agency to Spend Millions of RMB on Baidu

As part of its global "Visit Japan Campaign", the Japan Tourism Agency has agreed to pay search engine Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) several million RMB for keyword-based search marketing. According to the terms of the deal, Baidu users who input "travel Japan" in Chinese will find the Japan National Tourism Organization listed as the first result.
