The9: Atlantica PCU Breaks 100K on First Day OB

Chinese online game developer and operator The9 (Nasdaq: NCTY) has announced that peak concurrent users (PCU) of its 3D strategic turn-based role-playing game Atlantica has reached 100,000 on the first day of its open beta testing - June 10, 2009. The company opened 12 new servers for the game on the first day. According to The9, as of 10 am today, there were more than 1 mln World of Warcraft players who had applied to receive RMB 30 worth of Atlantica game card credit.
