SouFun to Build Real Estate Agent Credibility Database

Chinese online real estate site SouFun has announced that it plans to build a credibility index for real estate agents. A real estate agent credibility survey previously released by the company showed that 79.35% of property buyers were happy to purchase property through an agent, but that trustworthiness of agents was a major concern. Using its database of 260,000 agents, Soufun plans to establish a quantifiable credibility index for agents based on their name, identification number, employer, years of experience and managed properties. Internet users will be able to search the index free of charge to find the details of and provide ratings for agents.
