SNS Xiaonei Launches "Female Channel"

Chinese online social networking service (SNS) Xiaonei has launched a Women's channel, a response by Xiaonei to demographics showing the majority of female Xiaonei users are recent university graduates and have higher purchasing power than Xiaonei's male users. Xiaonei plans to utilize its new channel to promote discussion forums focused on group purchases, shopping discounts, and fashion and beauty. The new forums have, so far, mainly attracted postings from e-commerce sellers from sites such as Taobao.
