The9 Reveals Game Pipeline

Chen Xiaowei, president of Chinese online game developer and operator The9 (Nasdaq: NCTY), has stated that this year the company hopes to launch five new titles, and one expansion pack. Chen also revealed that one-third of these games would be self-developed and that in the future The9 aimed to release 2-3 new self-developed games per year. Chen added that The9 is continuing to expand the scale of its R&D center and hopes to have 400 staff working at the center by the end of the year, up from 300 currently.
