China Yahoo to Close Free E-Commerce Platform

China Yahoo has announced that its e-commerce platform Zhanzhang Tianxia (unofficial translation: Webmaster World) will end service on February 28. The service originally launched in December 2007 and provided free promotion and commerce services to online store owners. Since China Yahoo merged with vertical search engine Koubei in June 2008, the new company, Yahoo Koubei, has been reducing its business scope.
