Hunan Satellite TV Sues Online Video Sites

Beijing Times, 1/12/09

Hunan Satellite TV has revealed it has filed separate copyright infringement lawsuits against Chinese online video-sharing sites Tudou and Ku6 for alleged unauthorized broadcasting of first season episodes of the Chinese remake of television series Ugly Betty. The two cases will begin court proceedings in Shanghai and Beijing on February 3 and February 10, respectively.
