China Mobile, SPs Cooperate on "DO" Platform

A source inside China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) has stated that the company's new WAP-based wireless value-added service download platform "DO", which is separate from its Monternet WAP portal, has authorized five large wireless value-added service providers (SPs) including Sohu (Nasdaq: SOHU), Sina (Nasdaq: SINA), Tom Online, Tencent (0700.HK) and Kongzhong (Nasdaq: KONG) to cooperate with third-parties to provide content for the platform.
