Online Video Sites Merge

Content producer and video-sharing site Hupo.TV has announced it has officially merged with community-focused online video site Mofile. Beginning today, traffic from Mofile will be directed to Hupo.TV. The two parties hope to utilize their respective strengths to develop a new online video website platform and create a value chain spanning content creation to end users. Upon completion of the merger, the websites will use the domain mofile.hupo.tv.
Hupo has reportedly already received new advertising orders, and the site expects to realize a profit by the end of 2009.
