Dell China Retail Outlets Exceed 3,000

Dell now joins the ranks of appliance and consumer electronics retailers Gome (0493.HK) and Suning (002024.SZ) with some 3,000 Dell retail outlets in IT malls across the China.
Dell global VP and Greater China customer services GM Michael Yang said that Dell plans to continue expanding its customer service and retail coverage throughout 2009, growing from its current base in first- to third-tier cities to fifth- and sixth-tier cities, while also upgrading its channel services and strengthening management of after-sales support services.
