Baidu Faces Mass Lawsuit

A group of lawyers is preparing to file suit against Chinese search engine Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) over its business practices, including brand infringement, fraud, and unfair competition. The group states that it currently has over 50 companies willing to sue Baidu, and will file the suit once this number reaches 100.

The lawyers are being led by Li Changqing, who recently also filed a RMB 174 mln antitrust suit against Baidu.
