Sundan to Open Beijing and Suzhou Branch Stores

Shenzhen electronics and appliances retailer Sundan plans to open a 2000 square-meter store in Beijing's Sanlitun neighborhood, and a 10,000-plus square-meter store in the Suzhou Industrial Park.
Sundan currently has 11 stores in Shenzhen, while appliance retailers Gome (0493.HK) and Suning (002024.SZ) have 27 and 25 stores, respectively. Sundan has less than 50% of Suning's market share.
The company's operating model is to buy up certain models of appliances from manufacturers for sale by its salespeople, allowing it greater leeway in setting prices.
