New Unicom Decides Management Team

A source at the new China Unicom (NYSE: CHU; 0762.HK; 600050.SH) has confirmed that the core management team of Unicom has been decided upon. Chang Xiaobing will remain as chairman, former Unicom vice presidents Tong Jilu, Li Gang, and Zhang Jun'an will continue to hold management positions, and seven executives from China Netcom: Lu Yimin, Zuo Xunsheng, Li Fushen, Pei Aihua, Li Jianguo, Zhao Jidong, and Jiang Zhengxin will also join the management team.
