SMG to Increase Direct Sales of Advertising

The Shanghai Media Group (SMG) reportedly plans to greatly increase the ratio of its self-operated advertising from next year.
According to data from SMG's advertising center, the company predicts it will earn as much as RMB 4 bln in revenues from advertising this year, of which 40% will come from its advertising resellers. The director of SMG's advertising center, Jin Zhongbo, says the company's target next year is to bring the ratio of advertisements from resellers to within 10%.
