MIIT Sets up TD-LTE Working Group

Yesterday, at China Mobile's (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) TD-SCDMA Technology and Business Development Executive Seminar, Dr Yang Guang of the China Mobile Research Institute said that governmental departments had begun work on efforts related to TD-LTE. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) has established a TD-LTE working group to promote the industrialization of TD-LTE, with China Mobile serving as assistant director of the group.
