HP, Chongqing Sign Multiple Agreements

On October 9th, Hewlett-Packard (HP) and the Chongqing municipal government signed agreements on three projects. The projects are as follows:

1. HP will set up a 20,000 sqm manufacturing base in Chongqing using the company's most recent desktop and notebook computer production line technology. It is expected to begin operations in 2010.

2. HP will establish a global call center in Chongqing based on HP products and services, estimated to be completed within three years.

3. HP will establish a resource-sharing network platform covering 13 college campuses of Chongqing's "College City" .
