MCSC: LG Refrains from Advertising on Baidu MP3

The Music Copyright Society of China (MCSC) reported yesterday that the campaign to encourage brands to refuse to purchase advertising on Baidu (Nasdaq: BIDU) had a new member, as LG reportedly told MCSC that it would not place any ads on Baidu's MP3 search for as long as the search engine remained embroiled in legal disputes with record labels.
It remained unclear, however, whether or not LG would purchase advertising on other Baidu sites.
