ZTE Develops TD-SCDMA Technology Enhancement

ZTE (0763.HK; 000063.SZ) recently revealed that it had developed a project known as "TD-HSPA MX Double-Speed Space Division Multiplexing Technology" capable of tapping the theoretical technical superiority of the TD-SCDMA standard to double system throughput capacity in commercial networks. The technology has passed testing at the China Mobile Research Institute (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK) and in existing TD-SCDMA networks, and has been awarded a patent.
