Ctrip Q2 Profits Up 35%

Chinese online travel services provider Ctrip (Nasdaq: CTRP) has announced its unaudited financial results for Q2 2008, with net revenues reaching RMB 375 mln (USD 55 mln), up 30% year-on-year and 10% quarter-on-quarter.
Net income for the quarter came to RMB 119 mln (USD 17 mln), up 35% YoY and 21%% QoQ.
Hotel reservation revenues during the quarter amounted to RMB 196 mln (USD 29 mln), up 14% year-on-year, and 14% quarter-on-quarter. Air-ticketing revenues were RMB 169 mln (USD 25 mln), up 44% YoY and 6% QoQ. Packaged-tour revenues were RMB 24 mln (USD 3 mln), up 85% YoY, but down 11% QoQ.
The company estimates Q3 2008 revenues will see growth in the range of 15-20% YoY.
