Guangzhou Starts CMMB and Terrestrial DTV Broadcasts

Guangzhou Television has announced the launch of broadcasting using the China Mobile Multimedia Broadcasting (CMMB) standard, along with terrestrial high and standard-definition digital television (DTV) broadcasts. The move means that Guangzhou now provides all-around DTV reception and programming for mobile and fixed-location devices.
