China Wireless Expects H1 2008 Loss

Handset manufacturer Yulong Communications' majority shareholder, China Wireless Technologies (2369.HK), has announced that based on current estimates, the company will post a loss for H1 2008. The company stated the reason for the loss was a decrease in sales caused predominately by the market uncertainty associated with the telecom industry restructuring. The company expects results will improve next half, if the telecom industry restructuring is completed on schedule in Q4 this year.
