DMG Launches Video Display Network

Public transport digital media network operator Digital Media Group (DMG) has partnered with the Shanghai Media and Entertainment Group (SMEG)'s subsidiary New Media Information Communication to operate a digital information display network on Shanghai's commuting network infrastructure.

The display network will provide commuters with information regarding news, weather, transportation and other points of interest, on plasma displays at bus stands throughout Shanghai.

The move will see DMG go from a subway-based operator to a general transportation operator, and will add approximately 5 mln passengers to DMG's reach.
