Online game developer and operator Shanda (Nasdaq: SNDA) has announced that it will halt operation of 3D MMORPG Dungeons & Dragons Online from July 31. The reason Shanda has given for the shutdown is that the operating rights agreement between Shanda and the game's developer, Turbine, is set to expire.
