PPLive Obtains Online Video License

PPLive confirmed today that it has obtained an Online Audio-Visual Broadcasting License.

Editor's Note: PPLive's website displays both the license number - 0908250 - and issue date - April 30, 2008. The service type and permissable content specified on PPLive's license includes both "rebroadcast" of "authorized programs from provincial level and above TV stations (content from premium digital TV channels is excluded)" and "video on demand (including download) service" of "film, TV drama, entertainment, and featured audio and video programs".
