According to an informed source, the Ministry of Industry and Information (MII) is looking into applying special measures against dominant operator China Mobile (NYSE: CHL; 0941.HK). Current discussion is focusing on whether or not to allow the operator to run two mobile 3G standards, with the prevailing opinion being not to do so.
